We are looking to recruit a CNC Setter/Operator to work as part of an integrated D&M team responsible for on-line programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines (3, 4 and 5 axis) to produce wind tunnel model components to quality, time and budget in accordance with project manufacturing tolerances and schedules.
The successful candidate will be working on high value one-off components featuring complex 3D surfaces made from high-tensile steels and aluminium, to exacting tolerances and quality standards.
You must have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models, and be able to competently set and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis vertical milling CNC machines. Online programming experience is desirable, with the ability to programme offline using Delcam PowerMill and PowerShape highly preferable.
The ideal applicant will be a time served, fully skilled engineer/toolmaker in the role of a CNC setter/operator.
The successful candidate must satisfy security clearance requirements.
