Life at ARA

ARA offers a wide range of career opportunities; from computer programming to the operation and maintenance of large-scale, high-voltage plant and so we have a diverse team of highly skilled people.

We also have an active staff-run social club, running many events and offering opportunities to try new sports and hobbies, often whilst raising money for charity. The following photographs show life at ARA and recent Sports & Social Club activities.

Professional development is supported through a team of mentors who actively assist anyone wishing to achieve professional registration all the way through to Chartered status. This is achieved through professional institutes such as the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). ARA is a corporate member of the RAeS and is host to the Bedford Branch lecture series, held in the ARA Sports & Social Club, Bedford branch information can be found here.
