Covid Update Jan 2021

Dear valued clients,

Aircraft Research Association Ltd (ARA) takes this opportunity to wish you and your colleagues a Happy New Year.

We trust you are all keeping well during this international pandemic.

As a result of the Government announcement on 4th January, the UK is now in a ‘lockdown’ status with high levels of restrictions on social contact, however, in accordance with UK regulations ARA remains open for business and is following both Government rules and additional ARA protocols on site.  You will appreciate that as the situation is dynamic it is under constant review by ARA.

For TWT testing or model manufacturing scheduled in 2021, this test work is planned to continue. Direct discussions with your point of contact/Project Management team will be necessary to determine if/how you will be able to witness your project in accordance with ARA’s Covid-19 workplace processes. 

Consideration may have to be given to authorising ARA to conduct the test/work milestones in your absence with the provision of data via a mutually agreed portal or process. ARA has successfully completed work for several clients in 2020 using this method.
